Production MachinistOpportunity to build your skills and grow your machining careerStable full-time role in a hands-on manufacturing environmentWork with experienced machinists and learn through on-the-job supportConsistent hours, reliable work, and a clean, safety-focused shopPersonal protective equipment providedAs a Production Machinist, you’ll perform repetitive and precision machining using CNC and manual equipment. You’ll follow clear blueprints and work orders to create quality metal parts, maintain tolerances, and ensure proper setup and inspection of your work. You’ll work independently after initial training and collaborate with higher-level machinists as needed.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Operate lathes, mills, grinders, saws, and hand tools to machine partsFollow blueprints, program readouts, and instructions to meet specificationsSelect proper tools, speeds, feeds, and materials based on work ordersInspect work using micrometers, verniers, gauges, and preset instrumentsAdjust machines manually to control tolerances as neededMaintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in the work areaAssist in basic fixture creation and rough setups with guidanceReport to supervisors or higher-level machinists for troubleshooting or complex setupsCompensation and BenefitsCompensation: Pay will be offered based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, and certifications. Benefits: We offer comprehensive benefits to include health, and an incentive recognition bonus (all benefits are based on eligibility).Skills and QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2 years of machining experienceTechnical school, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on training preferredAble to read and interpret blueprints and basic machining specsStrong understanding of machinist math and use of measurement toolsFamiliarity with CNC conversational control and basic program editsAbility to work independently after 4 to 6 months of on-the-job trainingBasic computer skills and ability to follow written work instructionsAbility to lift and move up to 50 poundsWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
