Role DescriptionThe Workday Extend Developer will be involved in analyzing requirements, implementing, or testing solutions, as well as supporting workday extend enhancements, release, and maintenanceResponsibilitiesComprehend data integrations from point to point systems as well as holistic interchange services rendering effective data quality and dependable exchanges of digital informationIdentify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application with external applications across HR, Finance, and other areas where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of variable factorsDesign, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB and supporting third party codingResponsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessaryBasic understanding on the Security Configuration and Business Process setup in the tenantAbility to understand the requirements end to end; both Technical and Functional and to work the clients independently and to effectively communicate details to the clientsFunction as the liaison between the assigned internal/external client groups(s) (HR, Payroll, IT, Vendor Implementation Consultants, Software vendors, etc)Create and maintain documentation for new and existing integrationsPerform full system regression testing for Workday updates to ensure security access and integrations are functioning as expectedAbility to understand business needs, troubleshoot issues, diagnose root cause, and provide potential solutions to problemsRequirementsExperience with EDI, XML, XSLT, Web Services, SOAP, REST, JSON, JavaScript, or other integration technologiesWorking knowledge of Workday integration tools including, Workday Studio, EIBâ¿¿s, Report Writer (BIRT), Core Connectors and PECI integration2 4 yearsâ¿¿ Workday Extend including PMD Scripting, Orchestration, core HCM module and SecurityExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; must maintain confidential information, have strong problem solving skills, and be able to meet deadlinesExplain appropriate use cases for App Components Create and maintain Business Objects Design and implement a Business Process Build and Execute an Orchestration Design and use reports using RaaS and WQL
