NICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care for neonates. The ideal candidate must possess experience in a Level III NICU and be able to attend deliveries and perform admissions for high-risk infants.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

• Attend high-risk deliveries and perform resuscitation as necessary.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for neonates, including managing complex medical needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and physical conditions.
• Educate and support families in understanding their infant's care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license (Compact license required).
• BLS and NRP certifications.
• Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience, particularly in a Level III setting.
• Proficiency in using the Epic charting system.
