Billing Associate

Billing Associate Salary Range $25.00 - $26.00 Hourly Position Type Regular Job Shift Full Time Description Job Summary: Responsible for the day-to-day billing process that includes insurance verification, prior authorizations, data entry, billing of various insurances and follow-up on accounts. Duties and Responsibilities: Assists the receptionists in verifying insurances and charging self-pay patients. Scrub Claims, and all other related to billing department tasks. Always maintains confidentiality of patient information. Complies with applicable policies and procedures and supports the Compliance Program. Contributes to organizational operations by performing other duties as may be required. Qualifications High School Diploma (preferred). Adherence to laws and confidentiality guidelines. Proven experience as a billing clerk or general accounting experience (preferred). Excellent communication skills. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); Working knowledge of relevant software will be appreciated. Ability to establish and maintain courteous and professional relationships with staff, patients and others.
