Speech & Language Pathology Assistant in Santa Rosa, CA

Desired Background:

• Completed SLPA program and valid state licensure
• Previous experience in school environments or with K-12 populations is preferred
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, students, and families
• Ability to follow the guidance of supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
• Experience or readiness to assist with a diverse range of speech and language needs
• Organized, responsible, and adaptable to dynamic educational settings

Your Daily Impact:

• Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions to students, based on IEPs and under SLP supervision
• Document student progress and maintain clear records
• Contribute to the implementation of classroom programs and communication strategies
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and staff development as needed
• Support a collaborative and inclusive environment for all students
• Adjust support according to evolving student and team needs
