We operate a 124-bed acute care hospital situated on 23 scenic acres in Sparks, Nevada.

This Registered Nurse position is available on a per diem basis within our Medical Surgical Unit , featuring a convenient night shift schedule. We seek an enthusiastic Medical Surgical Nurse (RN) dedicated to providing safe and compassionate care in a medical/telemetry environment. The principles of Patient-Centered Care will underpin all nursing activities, and adherence to Service Excellence standards is expected at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with patients and their families to address psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diverse needs during care assessments.
• Develop and execute care plans utilizing nursing expertise, integrating both direct and indirect patient care activities related to diagnoses and co-morbidities.
• Facilitate the execution of interdisciplinary care plans for assigned patients, establishing goals, treatment strategies, and discharge plans tailored to individual patient and family requirements.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• Active nursing license in Nevada
• Current BLS certification
• Preferred: One year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting
