Our ideal candidate is an experienced clinician who is passionate about providing comprehensive psychiatric care across the lifespan—ages 5 through 80—in an outpatient setting who works 16 hours per week ..Psychiatrist ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients in the outpatient setting.Provide medication management and therapy to a diverse patient population.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.Stay current with advancements in psychiatric treatment and research methodologies.Make referrals for psychotherapy when indicated and collaborate with all other mental health professionals involved in the patient's care to ensure comprehensive treatment.Maintain accurate and confidential client records completely all documentation in compliance with legal/ethical standards.Advocate for clients' needs and rights, including access to psychiatric services and medications.Other duties as assigned.Psychiatrist Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation package based on productivity: 60% Net Collections in a cash pay practice (Estimated earning potential $210-$270 per clinical session)Opportunities for professional development and continuing educationSupportive work environment with a focus on work-life balanceContribution to groundbreaking research in the field of psychiatryOpportunities to work in a hybrid capacityRequirementsActive, unrestricted medical license in TennesseeBoard-Certified Psychiatrist (MD or DO)Possess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration ("DEA") number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances.Minimum of 2 years' experience treating children, adolescents, adults, and older adults (ages 5–80) in private practiceStrong understanding of psychiatrist assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic techniquesKnowledge of evidence-based interventions in psychiatric treatmentAbout Tennessee Mental Health & Psychiatry GroupYou will be joining Tennessee Mental Health & Psychiatry Group, co-located with Southeast Psych Nashville in Brentwood, TN.
