Medical Director

Providing administrative oversight to the medical staff, the full-time State Licensed Rehabilitation Medical Director will analyze medical review utilization data, research new medical procedures, and serve as a resource for medical policies while working remotely across the United States. Key responsibilities Supports operations through case review on medical and regulatory matters Develops claim adjudication criteria and provides input on operational policies Educates staff and the medical community on medical policy and program administration Required qualifications Doctorate in a job-related field 5 years of post-graduate experience in direct patient care Active state medical license and current board certification in a recognized specialty Proficiency in Microsoft Office Knowledge of medical and utilization review techniques
