Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in Ruskin , FL . 

Job Details: 
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location:  Ruskin , FL . 
Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: 3+ months (possibility of extension)
Pay Range: $21/hour to $23/hour
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  

Duties: 

• Perform clinical duties including patient rooming, vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection, venipuncture, wound care, and medication administration.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures while maintaining accurate and timely medical records.
• Operate, maintain, and perform quality checks on diagnostic equipment; sterilize medical instruments using an autoclave.
• Coordinate patient care in accordance with physician direction, company policies, and Standard Delegation of Orders (SDO).

Requirements: 

• Education: High School
• Certification(s):  Medical Assistant Certification
• Years of experience: 1+ year as medical assistant
