Staff Accountant II

With its Corporate Headquarters located in Central Florida, DSI Management, LLC specializes in the management of communities for the elderly, residential and community training programs for the developmentally disabled, and a full range of healthcare services to individuals in their homes. As a member of our staff, you will be providing vital administrative support to one of our many partners throughout Florida. Facility Name and Address: 1890 State Road 436, Suite 300 Winter Park, FL 32792 Purpose: The Staff Accountant II prepares timely and accurate financial statements and budgets for assigned companies. It includes handling journal entries, inter-company reconciliations, and accounts payable reviews. The role supports audits, asset tracking, and bank reconciliations. It ensures reliable financial reporting to support informed business decisions. Prepare and distribute timely and accurate monthly financial statements for assigned companies, including detailed Balance Sheet account analysis and supporting schedules. Manage inter-company accounting activities, including reconciliation of the inter-company matrix with DSI and preparation of inter-company invoices. Develop, key, and upload annual budgets and monthly journal entries into the accounting system (Traverse), ensuring accuracy and alignment with company objectives. Support financial audits and internal controls by collecting required documentation, assisting with Resident Trust and bank reconciliations, and reviewing accounts payable coding prior to posting. Conduct fixed asset and capital expenditure analysis, monitor spending against budgets, and prepare forecasts, ad hoc reports, and financial analysis as requested by management. Required Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting Three (3) plus years’ experience in accounting field or equivalent relevant experience. Experience in accounting related to General Ledger, bank reconciliation, account analysis, payroll taxes and fixed assets. Proficiency in the use of Excel and Word, and familiarity with general ledger accounting software required.
