That experience is what pushed me toward agency ownership — I wanted to build something meaningful, serve my community, and create a team environment where people can grow, earn well, and take pride in the work they do. Today, our team includes 10 team members and we operate with a “championship team” mindset — accountability, teamwork, and steady improvement every week. I’m originally from Jamaica and moved to the U.S. to attend the University of South Florida in Tampa. Outside the office, you’ll usually find me supporting my kids at soccer games, staying focused on personal growth, and keeping life balanced with walking and meditation. We stay active in the local community through the Coral Springs and Coconut Creek Chamber of Commerce and enjoy supporting initiatives like Habitat for Humanity, local education-focused events, and nonprofit organizations such as SOS Children’s Village. Role Description As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Shawn Aguilar - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. Grow your career as you better your community. Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries. Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status. Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.
