Lab Analyst III

Here's what you'd do: Perform analyses including instrumental and automated methods utilizing prescribed procedures and techniques. Maintain well-documented laboratory notebooks and records. Perform calculations to convert laboratory data into a reportable form. Report results on the appropriate database (SAP). Interpret test results. Develop methods for GC-FID, GC-MS, and any other instruments as required. Clean glassware and maintain a clean environment. Restock chemicals from the stock room. Check inventory of R&D samples and dispose of them accordingly. Assist the QA department with investigations and closure of CAPA. Create SDS sheets. Assist in tobacco extraction production. Prepare R&D samples and send them to the customers. Ensures safety, housekeeping, and compliance issues are maintained. It is the responsibility of each employee to work in a safe and responsible manner to create an injury-free and incident- free workplace. Comply with all job-related safety and other training requirements. May be asked to perform other duties if necessary. Assist the lab manager in the completion of the projects. Assist in maintaining Environmental Compliance throughout the plant. Oversee and assist Lab Analysts I and II in their duties. Job Requirements Required skills: Associate's Degree in Physical or Biological Science Minimum 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical. Minimum 6 years of experience in a laboratory. Preferred skills: Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological Science Broad knowledge of analytical and chemical techniques. Strong knowledge of GC-FID and GC-MS instruments. Ability to effectively collaborate with others to achieve team goals and expectations. Interest in researching and implementing new approaches in analysis. Ensure that the lab is maintained in a safe operating condition as per company safety policies.
