Our Industrial Construction Site Supervisors work as part of a team to complete the required civil, electrical, and mechanical requirements to bring the system into operation at industrial sites across the country.Job Summary:Reporting to the Installations Division Manager you will be the point of reference of both site workers and project managers and be a key person in the successful completion of a project.The ideal candidate will have a background in the industrial installation or industrial maintenance field. Your leadership skills and your extensive experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. You must be well-organized and make safety a priority. This position is paid on an hourly basis and overtime pay will apply. Extensive travel to customer sites is required.Responsibilities:Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects and meet established deadlinesFollow project schedules and monitor attendance of sub-contractorsAllocate general and daily responsibilitiesSupervise and train workers and sub-contractorsEnsure manpower and resources are adequateGuarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are metSupervise the use of machinery and equipmentMonitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budgetResolve problems as they arise.Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.Qualifications/Job Requirements:A high school diploma/GED plus 5 years’ directly related experience.Certification and/or apprenticeship in a skilled trade, a plus.Direct experience in the role of Site Supervisor in an industrial settingAbility to travel extensively from 3 days up to 6 months with paid home visits available every other weekend.Must have a valid US issued driver’s license with a good driving recordWorking knowledge of OSHA guidelinesElectrical experience preferredAbility to read drawings, plans and blueprintsAptitude in mathAbility to assume responsibility for day-to-day operations in the fieldEffective communication skillsExcellent organizational, team building, and leadership skillsProblem-solving abilities, critical thinking skillsTime management skillsWhat EMSCO Offers:EMSCO offers a competitive salary based on qualifications and generous benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, Tuition Assistance, 401K plan, incentive bonuses paid quarterly, and annual profit-sharing plan.EMSCO, Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
