Automotive Service Technician

Overview Ken Garff Automotive Group seeks an Automotive Service Technician to perform and maintain vehicle diagnostics and repairs while adhering to dealership, state, and factory standards. The role emphasizes customer focus, first‑visit quality, and teamwork. Responsibilities Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders. Diagnose and repair vehicles to meet dealership, state, and factory standards. Address customers’ primary concerns with diagnosis, repair and quality control to attain ‘Fixed First Visit’ expectations. Perform Ken Garff Electronic Multi‑Point Inspection and video on every vehicle; immediately notify Service Advisor if the vehicle requires additional recommendations or more time. Master our Dealer Management System (DMS) for work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes, communication, and time keeping. Complete required training as assigned. Maintain cleanliness throughout workspace and all customer vehicles. Qualifications Prior automotive technician (mechanic) experience preferred. ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications highly preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid in‑state driver's license and a good driving record. Benefits Competitive compensation package and 401(k) with company match.
