About the Position

Start Date: 10/18/2026
Schedule: Day Shift 5*8s 40hours/week

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

• Call: On-call/callback; weekends & holidays per unit needs

• Experience: 2+ years Anesthesia Tech experience

• Certification: BLS

• Preferred Education: 4-year degree with related technical training, or 2-year college education with related technical training + 2 years experience, or equivalent combination

• Preferred Certification: Certification through the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists or another nationally recognized certifying body

• Clinical Support: Assist with anesthesia equipment, monitors, medications/supplies, difficult intubations & central line placement

• Equipment: Operate/troubleshoot anesthesia machines, infusion pumps, nerve stimulators, defibrillators, transport monitors & fiberoptic bronchoscopes

• Cases: Cardiac, liver transplant, vascular, thoracic, trauma & other advanced surgical procedures

• Cell Saver: Operate cell-saver machine and track lab reports

• Responsibilities: OR room setup, equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, specialized equipment support, staff training and backup shift-supervisor duties

• Additional: Support anesthesia for out-of-OR procedures and ensure specialized equipment availability across hospital units
