Apprentice Product Researcher

What you’ll do: Work alongside other Pinterest Product Researchers and key partners on our Design, Product Management, and Engineering teams on a high‑impact project Use qualitative research methods, such as usability evaluations, individual interviews, and diary studies, to understand user needs and product opportunities Collaborate with an assigned mentor who will help you navigate the expectations associated with being an Product Researcher at Pinterest Leverage AI tools to optimize your workflow and to make cross‑functional collaboration more productive and efficient Continually grow through various learning and development opportunities What we’re looking for: Professionals from non‑tech backgrounds, including but not limited to: research bootcamp graduates, self‑taught candidates, and those who do not hold a related degree or professional experience in Product Research roles Self‑motivated and proactive professionals pursuing a career in the tech industry who are curious to learn what it’s like to work and succeed as a Product Researcher at Pinterest A learner and builder mindset: Able to quickly onboard to emerging AI tools and implement them appropriately in the full product development process with a focus on decision quality, craft and efficiency 1+ years of experience working collaboratively and clearly communicating in a professional work environment preferred Apprentices are expected to work full‑time during business hours. As such, students currently enrolled in a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD program are not eligible for this position Demonstrated knowledge of qualitative research methods In‑Office Requirement Statement: We recognize that the ideal environment for work is situational and may differ across departments.
