About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance and Accounting to join their team. The successful candidate will be a hands-on and strategic leader, responsible for all financial and accounting operations, including a $29MM annual budget and $18MM in reserves. This role involves maintaining strong internal controls, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing accurate and timely financial reporting to support organizational decision-making. The VP will also lead the annual budgeting process, oversee financial planning, and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors. Key responsibilities include financial leadership, operations, payroll, benefits, and compliance management, as well as team leadership and fostering a collaborative, service-oriented finance team culture. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance and Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with at least 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance. A minimum of 4 years in a supervisory role and experience in a trade association or nonprofit environment are required. The role demands proficiency in accounting systems and financial reporting tools, with experience in Sage Intacct, Ramp, and Excel.
