Perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans for diagnostic purposes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Ensure patient safety, optimal imaging, and adherence to clinical protocols. Responsibilities:
- Operate CT imaging equipment, including GE CT scanners, to acquire precise diagnostic images.
- Review patient histories and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
- Utilize PACS systems for image storage, retrieval, and reporting.
- Follow all safety protocols, including BLS certification and proper radiation precautions.
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic, including recent usage and competency certification.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care.
- Hold ARRT certification and valid active compact or TN license.
- Possess at least 1 year of recent CT imaging experience, including trauma, CTA, brain perfusions, and basic scans.
- Exhibit proficiency with GE CT scanners and PACS systems.
- Have recent Epic experience within the last 12 months and pass the Epic competency exam.
- Be compliant with BLS certification requirements.
- Be able to work scheduled night shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with no on-call duties.
