The primary responsibilities of this position include: Plan and implement engaging and effective lessons aligned with Massachusetts state standards for mathematics. Use formative and summative assessments, including NWEA MAP, to determine students’ mastery of objectives. Understand and support the unique strengths and needs of each student. Use the FACTS student information system for attendance, grading and communication. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress. Collaborate with the middle school team, academic coaches, student support team, and school leadership. Advance the mission of the school through active participation in a faculty committee. Support the faith formation of students and accompany them in faith formation experiences. Create a safe and joyful learning environment. Contribute to the school’s positive, welcoming culture. The requirements for this position include: Commitment to the school’s Catholic mission and identity. Licensure in Massachusetts. Ability to use instructional technology.
