Project Manager

Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering

  • Minimum 10 years of experience supporting projects within petrochemical, refining, chemical manufacturing, or similar industrial process facilities
  • Demonstrated Project Management experience leading capital, maintenance, or industrial facility projects
  • Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction workflows
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in an industrial plant environment
  • Active TWIC Card
  • Ability to manage multiple project priorities and stakeholders simultaneously

Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 20-30 years of total industry experience
  • Previous experience managing projects within large-scale petrochemical manufacturing facilities
  • Experience overseeing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project activities
  • Strong understanding of plant operations, maintenance, and capital project execution methodologies

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong engineering background to support capital projects within a petrochemical manufacturing environment. This individual will serve as the key liaison between engineering, construction, procurement, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution from initiation through completion.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive petrochemical plant experience, prior project management expertise, and the ability to effectively coordinate multidisciplinary teams while managing project schedules, communications, and deliverables. Although this position does not require hands-on engineering design work, candidates must have sufficient technical knowledge to understand engineering concepts, facilitate technical discussions, and drive projects forward.
