Shift Lead job at Crumbl Cookies. Canton, GA. A Shift Lead is someone who is in charge of managing one of our working shifts. Shift leads are responsible for completing the duties outlined in the “Baker” job description (shown below). Additionally, their duties revolve around direct reports to the general manager. A direct report provides and demonstrates task instructions, manages attendance, and measures key performance indicators. You should keep records and produce reports that will help to review the team’s performance. Exceptional communication skills and a passion for excellence are necessary for success in this role. Previous leadership experience is a plus. The Baker understands recipes, performs quality checks on ingredients and finished products, uses frostings, glazes, fillings, and other toppings to enhance item presentation, and process orders from customers. As a baker, you will greet customers, answer questions, clean workstations and equipment, make sure the kitchen is stocked, and perform other duties as needed. To be a successful baker, you should be efficient, friendly, focused on food quality and customer satisfaction, be decisive, attentive, and have a strong understanding of baking techniques.
