Job Title Nurse Consultant II (NS) Position Summary CRH is currently recruiting for a Nurse Consultant II to function as a Clinical Informatics Specialist. The primary purpose of this position is to support the clinical informatics program by ensuring the effective use of the electronic health record and related clinical information systems. The role provides expertise in clinical workflows, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to enhance system functionality, and promotes safe, efficient, and compliant documentation practices. Responsibilities Provide expertise in clinical workflows and electronic health record use. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance system functionality. Promote safe, efficient, and compliant documentation practices. Support optimization efforts, coach users, troubleshoot issues, and reinforce standardized documentation practices. Develop training materials, lead training sessions, and conduct clinical informatics rounds. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina and two years of clinical experience in the area of specialization. Working knowledge of clinical informatics, clinical workflows, EHR functionality, documentation standards, and relevant privacy, security, and regulatory requirements. Proficient in EHR use, workflow assessment, end‑user training, and issue identification. Strong communication, collaboration, and basic project‑coordination skills. Ability to support optimization efforts, coach users, troubleshoot issues, and reinforce standardized documentation practices. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $66,696.00 – $110,049.00 (Recruitment Range: $89,000.00 – $102,336.00). Sign‑on bonus of $10,000 may be offered to the successful applicant(s), contingent on budget approval. Notes This position is exempt from certain provisions of the State Human Resources Act (GS 126) and is designated as mandatory for staying over during adverse weather events.
