Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

This is a 13-week contract position with 30 guaranteed hours to start as soon as possible.

Shift varies according to facility needs.

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to assist in implementing the treatment plan for patients. The COTA will support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, focusing on enhancing their functional abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities and therapeutic exercises.
• Document patient progress and participate in care team meetings.
• Implement treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Support patient education to encourage independence.
• Maintain patient safety and compliance with all protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Candidate must hold a valid COTA license and have relevant experience in a rehabilitative setting.
