Quick Facts Location: 400 North 17th Street, Allentown, PA 18104 Start Date: 09/16/2025 Schedule: Wednesday and Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Shift: Day, 8 hours Hours/Week: 16 Employment Type: Contract License/Certifications: Required (must be current) Experience: At least 2 years preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $119.35 per hour Weekly Pay via Direct Deposit Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2) Licensure, Certification, Travel & Reimbursements (if applicable) Robust Referral Bonus Program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, Certification, Travel reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive optometric examinations and vision assessments Manage refractive corrections and prescribe glasses or contact lenses Educate patients on eye health and preventive care Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate patient records in EMR Support clinic workflow during scheduled days What You Need Valid optometrist license in Pennsylvania Minimum 2 years of professional clinical experience Strong communication skills, bilingual abilities (preferably Spanish) a plus Ability to drive to the facility; local candidates preferred Reliable, professional, and patient-focused demeanor About the Assignment Join a well-established hospital setting operating as part of a Federal Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
