Permanency Support Supervisor Average salary is $67,766.40 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.) Job Type: Full-time EMPOWER’s Community Based Care program includes services to families that support the safety, permanency, and well‑being of children in the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS). As the Single Source Continuum Contractor (SSCC) in Metroplex East (formerly Region 3E), EMPOWER will ensure the full range of services, which includes foster and kinship care, purchased services, case management, and reunification services. EMPOWER will fully engage the community to help achieve positive outcomes for children. Responsibilities Supervise Adoption Coordinators, Independent Living Coordinators, Family Finder Coordinators, and Courtesy Supervision Coordinators assigned to the area. Provide administrative expertise as required. Ensure the accuracy, content, and completeness of documentation and files. Participate in planning, programming, and budgeting of the Permanency Program. Participate in the development of short, intermediate, and long‑range plans and goals for the Permanency Program. Participate in the development of Permanency Policies and Procedures. Maintain close working relationship with public and private agencies and stakeholders involved in providing Permanency services/support. Assist in organizing program meetings, conduct program orientation and on‑the‑job training of staff assigned to the unit. Coordinate Permanency services and requirements with public and private agencies and all stakeholders. Coordinate community resources for the benefit of children/families served by the Permanency Program. Compile required statistical data, complete reports and forward to appropriate agencies. Coordinate with provider placement agencies and contractors on the delivery of services to children and families. Refrain from assuming any duty that is unrelated to and/or interferes with the responsibilities of the position. Provide regular supervision and professional development of agency employees. Drive personal or agency vehicle while transporting children or conducting agency business. Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet agency underwriting standards while driving agency vehicles and/or transporting clients. Advocate, promote, and practice cultural sensitivity and responsiveness in all day‑to‑day interactions. Develop, promote, and practice teamwork in all activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited four‑year college or university with 4 years full‑time child placing experience as a worker or above in a private or state agency.
