Production Line Manager

Join our dynamic team as a skilled professional responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production line by efficiently managing materials and supplies. Your expertise in operating a forklift will be crucial in maintaining the flow of materials and finished goods, contributing to our overall productivity and safety.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate supply and material requirements by analyzing production schedules and organizing timely deliveries to the production area.
• Retrieve and transport supplies and materials by interpreting specifications, securing pallets, and moving them to designated production locations.
• Maintain inventory levels by monitoring usage patterns and reporting any discrepancies.
• Ensure a clutter-free production area by relocating finished and empty pallets appropriately.
• Document all material movements and transactions accurately.
• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Maintain forklift functionality by following operating instructions, performing preventive maintenance, and arranging necessary repairs.
• Enhance job skills by engaging in educational opportunities and training sessions.
• Contribute to the team’s success by achieving related warehousing and organizational objectives as required.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in safety management and adherence to safety protocols.
• Strong documentation skills for accurate record-keeping.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage inventory control effectively.
• Demonstrated dependability and initiative in previous roles.
• Capability to handle pressure and coordinate tasks efficiently.
• Excellent organizational and productivity skills.
• Proficient in data entry skills for tracking inventory and transactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role or environment.
• Certification or training in forklift operation.
