Leading paper manufacturer is searching for an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician within the greater St. Agatha ME area. We are seeking candidates with 5+ years of experience installing, calibrating, and troubleshooting process control equipment. Candidates with 5+ years of trade experience, a Journeyman's electrical license, and knowledge of drives/PLCs/DCS or other electrical certifications are highly desirable.

This is an hourly position with a starting pay of $25.81/HR, candidates will take a skill assesment test first week of hire which allows for a pay increase up to $34.92/HR + OT. Schedule is available for discussion during the interview process. Please apply today!

responsibilities:

• Focus on maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems, including PLC'S, DCS, Motors, Valves and other equipment used in yeast fermentation and processing.

• Install, maintain, repair, and calibrate instruments, controls, and electrical equipment within the yeast production facility.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and instrumentation problems, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.

• Work with process control systems to ensure optimal process performance and safety.

• Calibrate and test instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, calibrations, and repairs.

• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, including those related to electrical work and confined spaces.

• Work closely with other departments, including engineering, maintenance, and production, to ensure smooth operations.
