Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist III - Float at Northville, MI! This is a 6 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role: Phlebotomist III - Float

Location: Northville, MI 48167

Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (EST)

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $28/hour (Based on years of experience & education)

Note:
1. Candidate must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record.
2. Floaters are eligible to submit mileage between work locations for expense reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture, capillary collections, and specimen processing according to established laboratory procedures.
• Collect, label, and prepare specimens accurately for laboratory testing.
• Verify patient identification, demographic information, and specimen labeling after collection.
• Explain collection procedures and provide compassionate, professional patient care.
• Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collections when required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, safety guidelines, and company quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and contribute to a positive patient experience.
• Travel between multiple Patient Service Centers and physician office locations based on business needs.
• Complete additional duties assigned by the area supervisor.
  

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required .
• Experience with:

  • Geriatric collections
  • Capillary collections

Note: Local candidates within 25-30 miles are eligible.
