Job Summary Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessing patients' clinical decision‑making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided safely and competently, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects. Record patients' medical information and vital signs. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions. Qualifications Education: Associate's Degree Nursing Required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred. Experience in lieu of a degree is not accepted. Licenses and Credentials: Registered Nurse (RN) – State License; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Preferred; Basic Life Support (BLS) – Preferred; Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) – Preferred; Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) – Preferred; Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification – Preferred. Experience: Clinical nursing experience 2–3 years required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Familiarity with the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment. Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to build strong relationships. Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
