Job Description

Per Diem, Nights

The RN provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination of the patients' experience and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs high quality and patient focused care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Minimum: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure. Preferred: BSN

EXPERIENCE: None

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION: Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida. American Heart Association BLS certification For Telemetry and higher acuity units: ACLS (AHA) and Basic EKG interpretation are also required.

Delray Medical Center, part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 536-bed acute care hospital spanning 30 acres, employing over 1,700 employees, 700 physicians and serving southern Palm Beach County for over 40 years.
