Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - Nights Location Maryland This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift of 3x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team for night shifts. Our community hospital offers a supportive environment where you will work in a 4‑Bed Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) unit, providing care to neonates, adolescents, and adults. You will participate in approximately 50 to 60 deliveries each month. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care for patients in labor and delivery. Monitor and support patients throughout labor and postpartum recovery. Participate in stabilizing and transferring patients with early gestation complications. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care. Utilize Epic for charting and documentation. Train and educate new parents on newborn care, breastfeeding, and discharge processes. Float within the Labor & Delivery and Mother‑Baby units as needed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of L&D experience; 2 years preferred. Active Maryland RN or Compact License. BLS, ACLS, NCC C‑EFM (to be provided at the time of submission), NIH, CPI certifications.
