Architect/Project Manager

Our client, a leader in urban development and master planning, is seeking a Architect/Project Manager to join their team. As an Architect/Project Manager, you will be part of the Master Plan Advisory Department supporting project delivery and client engagement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong graphic skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Architect/Project Manager

Location: San Francisco, CA (with flexibility for Sacramento or broader Bay Area locations)

Pay Range: $70-75 per hour

What's the Job?

• Lead and manage master planning projects from concept through to completion across diverse sectors including Mixed Use, Education, Healthcare, and more.
• Develop site planning graphics, including 2D/3D density studies and site test fits, ensuring feasibility and constructability.
• Coordinate with design teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
• Perform zoning analysis, support entitlement processes, and assist in site assessment and selection.
• Contribute to business development efforts through client engagement and project pitches.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in architecture or urban planning, with a focus on master planning or development projects.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
• Strong understanding of zoning, entitlements, and project feasibility analysis.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
