Position Description Responsible for administration and support of the organization’s global Learning Management System (LMS) and Knowledge Management platform across multiple regions, including the United States, Spain, Germany, and Australia. Serves as the lead global system administrator and primary point of contact for operating company administrators, ensuring both platforms are reliable, user-friendly, and aligned with global standards while supporting regional needs. The administrator will play a key role in enabling learning, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence by maintaining system integrity, organizing content, and supporting users across the enterprise. Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities LMS Administration Administer and maintain the global LMS, including user management, course setup, enrollments, and system configurations (Absorb LMS experience highly preferred) Act as the lead global LMS administrator and primary point of contact for operating company LMS administrators Manage and prioritize intake of requests from company administrators, including course creation, structural updates, reporting needs, and system enhancements Establish and maintain intake processes, workflows, and service‑level expectations for LMS support and changes Upload, test, and maintain learning content (SCORM, xAPI, videos, documents) Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls in alignment with global governance standards Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with IT or vendors for resolution Track training completion, certifications, and compliance requirements across regions Validate data integrity and perform testing during and after migrations to ensure accuracy and functionality Ensure standardization of LMS structure, naming conventions, and governance while accommodating regional or business‑specific needs Knowledge Management Administration Administer and maintain the global knowledge management platform (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, or similar) Organize and manage knowledge repositories, including document libraries, templates, and best practices Maintain taxonomy, tagging, and metadata standards to ensure efficient search and retrieval Support and enforce content lifecycle management (creation, review, approval, publishing, archiving) Promote knowledge sharing and reuse across operating companies Validate data integrity and perform testing during platform updates or migrations Ensure standardization of structure, naming conventions, and governance while supporting regional flexibility Global Operations & Support Support operating companies across multiple regions, ensuring consistent system use while accommodating local requirements (e.g., language, compliance) Maintain data integrity across both platforms, including user records, content accuracy, and reporting Generate and distribute reports and dashboards on learning outcomes, system usage, and knowledge engagement Support integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., HRIS, SSO, collaboration tools) Provide end‑user support, training, and documentation for both systems Support system upgrades, enhancements, and global rollouts Ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and internal IT/security policies Provide onboarding, training, and change support to newly integrated operating companies and administrators Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience 3–5 years of experience administering LMS and/or knowledge management systems Hands‑on experience administering enterprise LMS platforms; direct experience with Absorb LMS strongly preferred, including course configuration, reporting, user management, and system optimization Experience supporting knowledge or content management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, or similar platforms) preferred Familiarity with learning content standards and technologies including SCORM, xAPI, and AICC Experience supporting global users across multiple regions and time zones Knowledge of enterprise system integrations including SSO, APIs, HRIS connections, and collaboration platforms Experience supporting system upgrades, testing, migrations, and platform enhancements preferred Experience developing and maintaining taxonomy, metadata, naming conventions, and content governance frameworks preferred Experience generating reports, dashboards, and analyzing system utilization and engagement metrics preferred Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) preferred Familiarity with multilingual platforms and localization strategies preferred; proficiency in Castilian Spanish (written and spoken) strongly preferred to support global collaboration with Spanish operating companies Understanding of change management practices and user adoption strategies preferred Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, intake requests, and deliver timely solutions in a fast‑paced environment Strong troubleshooting, organizational, analytical, and data management capabilities Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to maintain content quality, governance standards, and system integrity Customer‑focused mindset with strong end‑user support and relationship management skills Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across employee levels, functions, and geographies Ability to balance global standardization with regional and business‑specific needs Demonstrated process orientation with a continuous improvement mindset Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve Relevant certifications (e.g., Absorb LMS, ITIL, Microsoft, or similar) preferred Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including international travel, as required Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Salary Ranges The salary range for this position in NYC is estimated to be $85K- $100K annualized. The salary range for this position in NJ is estimated to be $77K-$108K annualized. The salary range for this position in Maryland is estimated to be $85K- $100K annualized. The salary range for this position in Boston is estimated to be $85K- $100K annualized. The salary range for this position in Seattle is estimated to be $85K- $100K annualized. The salary range for this position in Denver is estimated to be $85K- $100K annualized. The salary range for this position in California is estimated to be $85K- $100K annualized. The salary range for this position in Chicago is estimated to be $72K-$100K annualized.
