Licensed Practical Nurse

Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Radiology UW Medical Center – Montlake is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for its Radiology team. Primary Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care under RN direction, including medication administration, injections, phlebotomy, peripheral IV placement, and point‑of‑care testing. Support pre‑ and post‑procedure workflows: patient intake, education, preparation, and discharge instructions. Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, complete medication reconciliation, and ensure readiness for procedures. Assist with therapeutic and diagnostic procedures while maintaining sterile technique and anticipating provider needs. Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition, abnormal findings, or concerns to RN/provider. Schedule Full‑time, day shifts. Minimum Qualifications Legal requirement: Current license to practice as a practical nurse in the State of Washington. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Preferred Qualifications Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 3 months of hire. Experience in procedural, ambulatory, or acute care settings.
