Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy interventions and participate in treatment activities under supervision to support residents’ functional goals.
- Implement and monitor treatment plans and selected modalities as directed by the supervising OT; document progress updates.
- Collaborate with the OT team, nursing staff, and other disciplines to coordinate care and ensure smooth patient transitions.
- Assist with activities of daily living training, therapeutic exercises, range of motion, strengthening, and adaptive equipment education.
- Maintain safety and infection control practices; follow facility policies and documentation requirements to ensure high-quality care.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ status to the supervising OT and contribute to plan adjustments as appropriate.

Requirements
- Ability to work the stated shift and schedule (08:00–16:30, 5 days/week) with guaranteed hours as specified.
- Comfortable working in a skilled nursing facility and with residents in a long-term care setting.
- Strong communication skills and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in documentation and charting of therapy sessions and progress notes.
- Ability to adhere to facility policies, safety guidelines, and standard infection control practices.
