Description:Class A CDL Team Truck Driver (FedEx Ground) - Hutchins, TXWe are currently hiring full-time Class A CDL Drivers for Team Runs in Hutchins, TX. If you are a dedicated and professional driver looking for a stable opportunity with competitive pay and benefits, we want to hear from you.As a FedEx Ground Team Truck Driver, you will safely and efficiently handle Over-the-Road (OTR) runs operating out of the Hutchins, TX area.ResponsibilitiesOperate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles (and triples, where applicable)Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on equipmentHandle Drop Hook Only freight No-touch freightVerify and complete all required documentation and reportsMaintain accurate daily logsFollow dispatch instructions and communicate updates regarding delays, arrivals, or equipment issuesComply with all applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsValid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)1 year of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience within the last 3 yearsClean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) No accidents or tickets in the past 3 yearsAbility to pass:Background CheckMVR ScreeningClearinghouse Login VerificationDrug TestAbility to attain doubles/triples trailer endorsementAbility to follow instructions and complete required trainingAbility to drive a manual transmission with no restrictions (Preferred)Pay Benefits$0.80 per mile for the first 5,000 miles each week$0.90 per mile for all miles driven after 5,000 miles in the same week$2,000 Sign-On BonusHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceLife Insurance401KPaid Time Off (PTO)Paid Holidays after 1 yearNo smoking in the trucksSchedule - Tuesday - SaturdayTerminal Location - 1101 E Cleveland St. Hutchins, TX 75141Military and veteran applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.Requirements:Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)Must possess one year of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience in the last three yearsMust be able to pass a background checkClean Motor Vehicle Record No accidents or tickets in the past 3 yearsMust have or be ready to attain a doubles/triples endorsementAbility to follow instructions and complete required trainingComplete Background Check, MVR Screening, Clearinghouse login, and Drug TestPrefer candidates who can drive a manual transmission and have no driving restrictions
