Overview

Our organization stands as a premier national platform dedicated to women's healthcare. We are currently looking for a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care to join our affiliated practice, with the potential for a full-time position in early 2027.

Located in Babylon, New York, Babylon Village Medical Associates comprises a team of committed healthcare professionals. We strive to empower individuals to lead their healthiest lives by offering primary care services alongside our Ob/Gyn offerings. Our goal is to support comprehensive health throughout all life stages.

Position Highlights

• Conduct patient examinations, screenings, and treatments while documenting health histories.
• Prescribe medications and therapies; order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Collaborate closely with physicians to ensure optimal patient care.
• Work schedule includes Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (flexible).
• Manage a patient load of approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Join a fully licensed medical team consisting of 3 MD/DOs and supportive staff.

Requirements

• National Nurse Practitioner certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Active, unrestricted licensure in the state or the ability to secure it.
• Current unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain it.
• CPR, BLS, and NALS certification or the ability to acquire them.
• Skilled in assessment and formulation of treatment plans.
• Effective communication skills with patients, team members, and management.
• Capability to make independent care decisions based on best medical practices.
• Preferred: One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
