Warehouse Production Worker

Job Summary
The Warehouse Production Worker supports production operations by handling materials, assisting with manufacturing or assembly processes, and ensuring efficient flow of product through the facility. This role also includes core warehousing and shipping/receiving responsibilities to maintain accurate inventory and timely movement of goods. The position requires flexibility to shift between production support, warehouse tasks, and shipping/receiving duties as operational needs dictate. The Warehouse Production Worker will report daily to the facility located at 2255 N. Pagosa Suite 100 there in Aurora Colorado. This role is critical to keeping materials flowing smoothly from receipt through production to final shipment, while providing flexible support across warehouse and production operations under the direction of the warehouse manager.

Key Responsibilities
• Stage raw materials, components, and packaging supplies for production lines according to schedules and work orders.
• Assist production teams with material handling, including delivering materials to workstations and removing finished goods or scrap.
• Support light production tasks as needed (e.g., packaging, labeling, basic assembly, quality checks, or machine tending) under direction of production leads or the warehouse manager.
• Monitor material availability and communicate shortages or quality issues promptly.
• Help maintain production area organization and cleanliness to support safe and efficient operations.
• Follow production schedules, work instructions, and quality standards.
Warehousing
• Receive, put away, and organize materials in designated storage locations using proper inventory methods (e.g., FIFO).
• Perform cycle counts, inventory checks, and assist with physical inventories.
• Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts if certified) to move product safely within the warehouse and production areas.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
• Support stock transfers, replenishment, and general inventory control processes.

Shipping & Receiving
• Assist with unloading and inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Help process receipts and stage materials for put-away or production use.
• Support order picking, packing, labeling, and staging of outbound shipments.
• Prepare basic shipping documentation and assist with loading trucks as needed.
• Identify and report discrepancies (shortages, damages, or incorrect items) to the warehouse manager.
• Contribute to accurate record-keeping of inbound and outbound transactions.

General Duties
• Adhere to all company safety policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe equipment operation.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Perform other warehouse, production, or shipping/receiving tasks as assigned by the warehouse manager.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to efficiency, safety, and accuracy.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, production, manufacturing, or shipping/receiving environment preferred.
• Ability to operate basic material handling equipment; forklift certification is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for inventory systems and data entry preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and shift priorities between production, warehouse, and shipping/receiving tasks.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, stand and walk for extended periods, bend, reach, climb, and perform repetitive motions.

Preferred Skills
• Familiarity with production processes, inventory control, and shipping procedures.

• Willingness to cross-train and support multiple areas of the operation.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work varying shifts or overtime as needed to meet production and shipping demands.
