TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified, fellowship-trained Hematology Oncology Physician to join a coastal outpatient cancer program in Nags Head, North Carolina. This is a rare opportunity to practice in a new, state-of-the-art cancer center while living in one of the most desirable beach communities on the East Coast.

Position Overview

Practice & Program Highlights

• Coastal oncology practice with a collaborative, multidisciplinary care model
• Team includes: Hematology Oncology physician, Radiation Oncology medical director, Oncology advanced practice providers, Oncology-certified nurses, Nurse leadership and breast health nurse navigator
• Newly opened cancer center featuring: Infusion suites, Exam rooms, Radiation therapy services, Nurse navigation, Healing gardens and patient support spaces
• Outpatient-only practice
• Shared after-hours and weekend phone call
• No inpatient consult service
• Strong referral base with more than 30 providers
• Accredited community cancer program
• Accredited breast center
• Accredited radiation therapy program
• Hospital-based support for: General surgery, Radiology, Pathology, Integrative medicine support available
• Multidisciplinary cancer committees with: Monthly tumor boards, Bi-monthly breast tumor boards
• Additional support from a regional academic cancer center team

Candidate Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology Oncology
• Completion of Hematology Oncology fellowship
• Eligible for North Carolina licensure
