Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Unit

As a Registered Nurse in our Medical Surgical Unit, your insights and contributions to patient care are highly valued and encouraged. Job Summary and Responsibilities

In the role of Registered Nurse, you will be tasked with providing exceptional, patient-focused care that aligns with departmental requirements and state-specific practice standards. Working closely with healthcare providers and the care team, you will deliver individualized, comprehensive, and empathetic care, adhering to established nursing frameworks such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, reflecting our organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure a superior patient experience and favorable clinical results.

• Evaluate the patient's condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in their status.
• Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of care in the patient’s medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient’s response, and take appropriate actions in case of any adverse reactions.
• Deliver outstanding care by responding swiftly to patient requests, anticipating their needs, and addressing them proactively.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care, ensuring clarity by simplifying complex medical terms.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Completion of a Registered Nurse Diploma program.
• No travel is required for this position.
