Key Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients, documenting responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Obtains and monitors physiological data, observes physiological manifestations, and intervenes when necessary
• Administers medications as prescribed; initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products
• Assists physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Provides tracheostomy care and stepdown-level patient management
• Interacts with patients and families to share care plans, inform of hospital procedures, and coordinate referrals to appropriate personnel

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of registered nursing experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Tracheostomy care experience and stepdown experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from a board-approved program
• ICU experience
