Shift Leader (Full-Time)

Pay Range $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Overview The Shift Leader supervises product, process, and people to execute a shift. The role includes assigning tasks, handling guest complaints, opening/closing tasks, and ensuring team performance meets company benchmarks. Create a culture of high performance and coach team members. Address guest and team member concerns positively. Set and communicate shift goals; motivate employees to achieve them. Delegate tasks and supervise performance during shifts. Maintain operational and cleanliness standards; enforce company policies and regulations. Ensure accurate order preparation, food safety, and quality control. Receive, reconcile truck deliveries, and conduct inventory counts. Plan opening and closing duties; manage cash and follow company financial procedures. Report goal progress to management and collaborate on goal development. Follow safety guidelines and report any human resources or risk concerns. Perform any additional tasks required for proper restaurant operation. Qualifications 18 years of age or older Reliable transportation Flexible schedule: days, nights, weekends, and holidays Part‑time availability: 9 to 28 hours per week Full‑time availability: 32 to 40 hours per week Successful background check Leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills Adherence to company standards and local laws regarding attendance punch‑in/out Strong verbal and written communication Technological proficiency with required software and tools Problem‑solving and multi‑tasking abilities Conflict resolution skills Sound judgment in alignment with company values Preferred experience in leadership or supervisory roles Servant‑leader mindset Physical and Capability Requirements Constant standing and walking; occasional stooping, bending, crouching, or climbing, including using ladders. Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting. Continuous use of hands and wrists for fine manipulation. Effective verbal and written communication. Good audio‑visual discrimination to respond to environmental changes. Work in hot or cold temperatures; exposure to food allergens. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives, fryers, and other hazards.
