Our client is an independent commercial insurance agency in the Phoenix metro, and they are hiring three new agents to join their team this year. They are not hiring experienced agents. That's deliberate. They've built a training system that works, and it works best on people who don't arrive with habits to unlearn. So the bar isn't your résumé. It's whether you're the kind of person their current team wants to work with every day. What makes this different The team is already good, and they intend to keep it that way. Fifteen people. Nine agents. The firm is going from $2.4M to $5M in revenue over two years and opening a second office. They are growing by developing and retaining their people, which only works if they're selective about who comes in. The support is structural, not verbal. One customer service rep for every two agents, servicing your new and renewal accounts. When your book of business crosses roughly $800,000 in written premium, the firm hires another account manager rather than letting service slip. Organic leads come to you. The CRM manages your daily call list. You are not constructing a pipeline out of nothing. Training that ends in a certification, not a handshake. Ten weeks of initial training with the team's sales leader. One product concept and one selling skill per week, live roleplay Wednesday and Friday, your real calls reviewed with you. At the end you demonstrate you can run the standard sale competently. Then the coaching doesn't stop - you get a weekly one-on-one focused on a strengthening a single habit each quarter. They pay for your license, and pay you while you get it. The firm enrolls you in the Kaplan P&C course, covers the cost, and pays you through the two-to-four-week study window. Getting licensed is your job for those weeks, not something you do at night. The income compounds, which is the whole point. The $48,000 in Year 1 is the floor, every one of their agents has exceeded this. You earn 55% of agency commission on new business and 35% on that account every year it renews. Producers who follow the program reach $100,000 in year one and are typically past $200,000 by year two or three - because year three pays you for years one and two all over again. You are not restarting at zero each month. There's a seat above you that's about to open. The current sales lead is slated to run the new office.
