Job Description

Opportunity:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

• Provide anesthesia services for patients aged 13 through end of life
• Work 4 ten-hour shifts per week or 3 twelve-hour shifts plus one rotating Saturday per month
• Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:00 with no call requirements
• Practice locations include main operating rooms, outpatient surgery center, and endoscopy center
• Utilize Epic electronic medical record system
• Work within all CRNA scopes of practice excluding open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, and peripheral nerve blocks
• Collaborate with 70 attending anesthesiologists and 60 anesthesia residents
• Cover 33 main operating rooms, 16 offsite anesthesia locations, 12 outpatient surgery rooms, and 3-4 GI center rooms
• Minimum 2 years experience required, preferably with academic background and level 1 or 2 trauma experience
• Academic medical center or level 1 trauma center experience preferred
• Experience working with ASA 3+ patients preferred
• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications through AHA required
• Virginia nursing license required
• Must live 50+ miles from facility
• All time off requests must be made upfront with restrictions during summer months
