We deliver solutions that help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression, creating a safer, more secure world.The Projectiles Portfolio is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as the Precision Projectiles Development Execution Program Manager for the Excalibur Hit to Kill (HTK) and Extended Range Artillery Projectile (ERAP) programs. Both HTK (XM1180) and ERAP (XM1230) programs are part of the Excalibur Weapon System designed to further extend the range and seeker capability of 155mm artillery projectiles. You will be responsible for all aspects of business performance and program execution to include cost, schedule, technical performance and customer satisfaction. You will also develop & integrate the range extension and seeker solutions in concert with existing projectile efforts.What You Will DoAssist with program integration, coordination, and direct engagement with the program team and functional partners, in pursuit of day-to-day program executionResponsible for meeting contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries and company expectationsDevelop, inform and achieve AOP and LRP goals and objectivesInterface with US Army Government Leaders to develop and influence program priorities, execution, and funding strategiesLead proposal and associated capture and startup activitiesCollaborate with Financial Planning to ensure Top-level Master Phasing and the Integrated Master Schedules meet program strategies, objectives, and milestonesSet budgetary guidelines and directs the performance of program task elements for IPTs/CPTsLead the program risk and opportunity process, in accordance with specific financial goals and obligationsParticipate in internal reviews and executive briefings pertaining to all pursuits to include, Gates, EACs, contract proposals, negotiation and definitization, and contract closeout effortsExpected to support domestic and international travel as neededQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experienceExperience developing and reviewing cost proposalsExperience leading cross-functional teamsExperience with technical, cost, and schedule requirementsQualifications We PreferIn-depth knowledge of projectile weapon systems and army production and development programsWorking knowledge of contract formation, execution, and management.Proficiency with program management toolsDemonstrated ability to advise and influence functional leaders, business development, global supply chain and internal program leaders to secure the necessary financial (IR&D, Capital) & staffing resourcesProgram Management Certification or ability to obtain; track record in successfully leading IR&D, NBI and/or customer funded programs/projectsWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
