As a Security Officer Morning Shift in Alcoa, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help control access while supporting routine patrols and clear communication. In this access control role, you will stay visible, provide outstanding customer service, and help address security-related concerns with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, manage visitor and delivery check-in processes, and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entry points, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Communicate with staff, drivers, vendors, and visitors regarding site access requirements, screening expectations, and/or directions while maintaining detailed activity logs and incident records.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
