Principal Software Engineer (RFID Integration & ServiceNow API)

***W2 Contract and Federal Government Client***
\n \nPrincipal Software Engineer (RFID Integration & ServiceNow API)
\nOak Ridge, TN (hybrid – on-site and telework)
\n10 months, with one option year
\n \nRequired Technical Skills: –
\n- \n
- Strong C# and ASP.NET application development experience \n
- HTML5 web development and user interface design \n
- ServiceNow API Web Interface experience \n
- Experience in integrating applications with databases and external platforms through APIs \n
- Experience developing custom dashboards and workflow applications \n
- Requirements gathering and system engineering design \n
- Agile software development methodologies \n
- Experience integrating authentication or identification devices, such as badges, card readers, or RFID tags \n
- Experience with Azure DevOps would also be beneficial. \n
Specific Deliverables –
\n- \n
- Hold design sessions with responsible managers to gather requirements and design information \n
- Execute a deliverable design sessions where principle design architecture is identified and approved \n
- Execute iterative sessions in development to include functionality testing to validate function and design with responsible manager \n
- Execute quality assurance testing \n
- Receive final signoff and approvals prior to moving system to production use \n
- Weekly reports should be produced showing work progress and what deliverables have been met \n
- All code for maintenance and operations of the developed system \n
- All documentation for the maintenance and operations of the developed system \n
- All design and requirements documentation \n
