Compensation Analyst

Compensation Analyst Provides a full range of compensation analysis and program administration services, including salary and variable pay administration, job classification and evaluation, survey participation, and job description development. Researches, collects and analyzes internal and external data for benchmarking, compensation reporting, and decision making. Assists in compensation projects such as the annual compensation review process, system implementations, performance management, and bonus calculations. Responsibilities Participate in the annual compensation process, including developing communication and training materials. Prepare data for the compensation system/worksheets. Train and advise managers and analyze salary, bonus, and long-term compensation recommendations. Evaluate positions to determine placement in salary grade based on market data and internal comparisons. Conduct exemption testing for compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. Participate in salary surveys and perform competitive market analysis and benchmarking for salary review and planning. Assist managers in developing and writing job descriptions and job profiles using questionnaires, interviews, and discussions. Develop job profiles in Workday. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum 5 years of compensation experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. CCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred.
