Sr. Technical Financial Analyst

This senior financial analyst position is part of the Business Planning and Analysis (BP&A) function and focuses on system administration of financial planning and reporting systems. Summary of the Job The Sr. Financial Analyst will maintain comprehensive financial calculations, partner with business units to automate planning and reporting processes, and collaborate with IT to enhance and support the company’s planning and reporting platforms. The role also includes financial reporting and analysis for related banking entities, such as preparing and reviewing operating budgets, forecasts, monthly financials, and product analysis. About This Role The successful candidate is a self‑starter who can design, plan, and execute projects to meet internal client needs. As an individual contributor, the candidate must collaborate with data analysts throughout accounting, finance, and enterprise data management (EDM) teams. Responsibilities Manage the Hyperion Essbase financial planning and reporting applications. Coordinate with HR, Accounting, and Finance to integrate workforce, asset management KPI/metric, and allocation metadata sets. Maintain various management reporting hierarchies. Develop Hyperion calculation models for statistical accounts, allocations, and financial plan consolidation. Communicate system processes and project roadmaps. Support system upgrades, migrations, and evaluate new processes and systems as business needs evolve. Design, enhance, troubleshoot, and execute/schedule Oracle Data Integrator interfaces and business logic. Manage user access to finance systems. Maintain best‑practice libraries for system administration and user experience. Provide planning and reporting support for all finance users and administer the Finance Systems Support SharePoint site. Continuously identify opportunities for increased efficiency and accuracy in data utilization. Perform financial reporting and analysis for community banks, including budgets and monthly reporting to key stakeholders. The Ideal Candidate Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, data analytics or equivalent experience. Experience working in large and medium sized project teams; self‑directed contributor with a proven track record of detail orientation, innovation, creativity, and strategic thinking. Professional behavior and ability to promote positive working relationships. Understanding and compliance with bank policy, laws, regulations, BSA/AML Program; completion of required compliance training and adherence to internal procedures and controls. Technical savvy. Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, Word, PowerPoint, Access. Financial statement preparation and analytical skills. Desired Experience with Hyperion Financial Planning and Reporting product suite or equivalent business systems analysis experience. Experience with Snowflake, Business Objects, or other reporting tools. Experience with SAS, SQL, R or Python. Familiarity with database management concepts. Financial services and commercial banking background. Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship. Compensation Base pay range: $81,662.00–$134,741.00. Final compensation offer may vary based on work experience, education, and skill level. Work Environment The incumbent will work onsite at the posted location.
