Job Summary Crystal seeks a part‑time Assistant Coach to oversee athletic training, strength and conditioning workouts, technical support, and training for the Varsity Girls Flag Football team. Responsibilities include coaching, supporting students, parents, the school, and the community. Collaboration — work with others to solve problems and achieve goals. Essential Functions Exhibit and mentor sportsmanship and fair play. Attend rule‑interpretation and training sessions. Attend mandatory coaches’ meetings. Monitor conduct of student‑athletes during practice games. Provide a safe environment by inspecting playing area and equipment before each session. Prevent injuries through balanced workouts. Instruct on basic rules and fundamentals. Assist in implementing training programs. Manage athlete registration and evaluations; maintain database. Uphold Crystal’s core values. Foster an inclusive team environment. Travel Required Light travel between MS and US campuses. Travel to Bay Area competitions and potential overnight travel for regional/state events. Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Three years of related experience preferred. Valid CPR/AED/First Aid certification. Football or Flag Football experience. General knowledge of best practices in interscholastic athletics and Flag Football. Work Environment and Physical Demands Dynamic environment with diverse challenges and deadlines. Outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Physical tasks: heavy effort including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling moderately heavy objects (20‑50 lb).
